Sophomore Ellie Borst (Hudsonville, Mich. / Unity Christian) picked up her 11th win at the mound striking out eight batters.

COACHES QUOTE: Becky Hilgert stated, "Two very big conference wins for us today. Offensively I thought we really had a lot of unselfish at bats and we really focused on moving runners and we did a nice job executing either hitting behind runners or sacrificing to move runners into scoring position. In the second game, we did a good job of handling some adversity and kept fighting until we took the lead in the top of the seventh. Defensively we stayed strong behind Anna and Ellie who did a good job of battling through some bases loaded situations. Overall, two great team wins today to give us some energy going into the finale versus Olivet."

UP NEXT: The Knights host Olivet on Saturday for a conference doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.
