WEST OLIVE, Mich. - Competing at the third MIAA Tournament of the spring season, Calvin posted a third place team score of 301 strokes.
Monday's tournament was hosted by Hope at the Wuskowhan Player's Club.
Senior Sam Holland (Novi, Mich./Detroit Catholic Central HS) led all scorers with a round of 68 that landed him medalist honors for the second time this spring.
Junior Kasen Anderson (Stillwater, Mn./St. Croix Preparatory Academy) was next with a 75. Sophomore Jacob Siebenga (Surrey, B.C./Surrey Christian HS) had a round of 78. Senior Joshua Lansky (Park City, Ut./Park City HS) had an 80 while freshman Jackson Northouse (Grand Rapids, Mich./South Christian HS) had an 81.
Competing individually for Calvin on Monday was freshman Gannon McDonnough (Pentwater, Mich./Pentwater HS) had a round of 80.
Trine took first place on Monday with a team score of 287 with Hope second at 301. Adrian was fourth at 302.
Calvin will compete at a league tournament hosted by Albion on Tuesday afternoon at 1 p.m.
