COACHES COMMENT: "Any time you can take a lead from start-to-finish and win on the road it's a good night," said Calvin head men's basketball coach Bill Sall. "I thought our first half defense was the best defensive effort we have put forth all season. It's good to get a win on the road. It's not an easy thing to do in this league so this was another step forward. On the offensive side of the ball I thought we were able to get out on the break and push the ball which led to good opportunities. Strong defense leading into offense is a winning formula."
NEXT UP: Calvin will host Kalamazoo on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Van Noord Arena.
